We're a doctor, an artist, a teacher, and a parent advocate who share one belief: kids facing serious illness deserve to understand what's happening to them. Together, we create the nonprofit resources we wish every family had.

How we started

Hello Brave began in our own family.

When Reina's son was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma at eight, our family struggled to explain what was happening to him. His aunt Nina, a physician, wondered: what if we created the resource we'd needed?
